Dr. William Tracy Love

of Clarksville, AR

July 12, 1949 - March 28, 2021

Clarksville native, Dr. William Tracy Love, passed away at his home on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021. Tracy was a 1967 graduate of Clarksville High School where he excelled in sports, breaking records in the shot put. A gifted musician, he enjoyed playing bass guitar for the 60s-era band, ''The Outcasts'', whose local members included Brian Bailey, Dane Pitts, Jerry Self, and Larry Self. At their pinnacle, they provided entertainment for the Johnson County Peach Festival.

Tracy graduated from Hendrix College with a Bachelor of Science in biology and was employed as a lake Biologist for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for many years. He went on to graduate from Logan University in St. Louis, MO. As a Doctor of Chiropractic and served the Clarksville community as a chiropractor until his retirement.

Tracy is the son of the late Louie and Dorothy (Hunt) Love, brother to the late Pam Love, and is survived by a sister Dottie Love Mason of Ft. Smith.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
