Jimmie Lea Young, 90, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Charleston.

She was born on August 26, 1930 in Paris, Arkansas to her parents Henry Reynolds and Mary (Hall) Reynolds. Jimmie was a homemaker and worked at the shoe factory in Paris and at Lady Fair Manufacturing in Ratcliff. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time at the Senior Citizens Center playing Bingo. Jimmie also enjoyed canning, fishing from a pond bank and playing Rook.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary (Hall) Reynolds and her husband, Wendell Young.

Jimmie is survived by her nephew, David Young and wife, Carolyn; her cousins, Genevieve Borchardt, Michael Bochardt, Sarah Jane (Farrar) Kuter and Audrene Parham; her sister-in-law, Joycelon Young and several other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 27, 2021 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Paris with burial at Shaw cemetery in Magazine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be David Young, Jeremy Young, Doug Young, Bill Young, Jay Young and Melvin Thomas.

Honorary pallbearer will be Bobby White.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and all attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
