Franklin Dudley Broom

Franklin Dudley Broom, 75, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 21 2021 in Helena, Arkansas after a battle with cancer. Born November 9, 1945 in Helena, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Frank Hampton Broom and Louise Mathis Broom.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda Hall (Pointer); one niece, Elizabeth Louise Hall; two nephews, Phillip Hall (Terri Ann) and Pointer Hall, Jr.; four great nephews, Michael C. Hall, Matthew T. Hall, Samuel Phillip Hall and David Pointer Hall; and one great niece, AnnCarol Hall.

The Marvell United Methodist Church was his church home. Franklin was a faithful member for 59 years where he served on various committees.
Mr. Broom was a retired farmer.

The family would like to thank his caregivers from Crestpark Helena, as well as the staff of Patients Choice Hospice, for the kindness shown during his illness.

Due to Covid pandemic, a PRIVATE, IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY, graveside service will be held.
