February 4, 1926 - February 12, 2021

Minnie Lee "Teetie" Campbell passed away peacefully at her home in Wichita, KS on February 12, 2021 at the age of 95.

Minnie was born on February 4, 1926 in Poplar Grove, Arkansas to Lucius Sanford and Sally Odeal Smith. She married Bruce Chester Campbell on December 24, 1944, and together they raised 2 daughters. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy Business School in Helena, AR, and took a computer class at Phillips County Community College, also in Helena, a few years before it was acquired by the University of Arkansas. She, therefore, insisted to anyone that would listen that she went to U of A. Minnie worked as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk for Crescent Jewelry Company in Helena. After moving to Wichita she began working for Dillard's and later transferred to the Dillard's store in Baton Rouge, LA. After her retirement, she volunteered as a foster grandparent tutoring elementary and middle school children for Catholic Charities in Wichita.

Minnie was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and even great, great grandmother. Her family brought her almost as much joy as she brought to them. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Campbell Watson and her husband Larry Watson of Wichita, KS, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.

A small, socially distanced, hopefully Covid-19 free, family only funeral.
