On January 31, 2021, James ''Jim'' Roy Anderson, ''Top'', loving husband and father of three children, grandfather of seven grandchildren, and one great grandson, passed away at the age of 65, after a long battle with cancer.

Top was born on September 4, 1955 in, Platte, South Dakota to John and Eleanor Anderson. Top spent his childhood in Oakland and Livermore, California where he met his wife of almost 48 years, Michele ''Spirit'' Anderson. Top spent 22 years in the Army, Retiring as a 1st SGT (E-8), and was able to provide a cultural and experiential life traveling all over the world to his three daughters, Natasha Lynn Samaroo, Lisa Marie Anderson, and Tory Latch. Top continued his service to the military as a civilian, working and retiring a 2nd time for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) after 20 years.

Jim had a passion for his family both at home and for his brothers in the Bandidos MC. He loved riding across the United States with his wife and friends. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Top had a beautiful life and appreciation for humor; making life fun for everyone around him.

Jim was preceded in death by his father John Anderson and sisters Jackie and Jeanette. He is survived by his wife Michele, his three children, 7 grandchildren, and great grandchild, his brothers John Anderson II, Jay and Jordan Anderson, sisters Judith Locklear, Joanna, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was a complete badass and the light in the world will be dimmer without him.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 13, 2021 at the Roller-Owens Funeral Home on JFK Blvd. at 1:30 p.m. Flowers or donations may be sent to 145 Eagles Nest Cove, Austin, Arkansas, 72007.

Due to COVID restriction, all attendees will be required to provide and wear a mask.
