Alvie Newton Wyatt, age 88 of St. Joe, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, February 1st, 2021 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born in St. Joe, Arkansas on August 15th, 1932 to John Logan Wyatt and Tennie M. Sullivan Wyatt.

Newt spent his working years at Claridge Wood Products, J&H Custom Church Furniture, and as a fruit picker in Washington. His time in Washington working in the fruit groves gave him much knowledge and skill with fruit grafting and gardening. He was an avid gardener and many homes and families have enjoyed the fruits of his labor. Newt was a soft spoken, kind hearted man who never had a bad word to say about or to anyone. He loved "making music" with his friends. His gentle presence will be greatly missed by his family.

Survivors include his children, Charlet Sue McEntire (Mike) of St. Joe, and Randy Wyatt (Jennifer) of Ashland, Missouri; grandchildren Misty Rogers (Cotton) of Lead Hill, Josh McEntire (Keelie) of St. Joe, Natasha Eberhart (Caleb) of Ashland, Missouri, Zac Wyatt (Kay) of Columbia, Missouri, Megan Wyatt, and Rachel Wyatt; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and one more on the way; one brother, Ed Wyatt (Pauline) of St. Joe; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Newt is preceded in death by his parents, Tennie and Logan Wyatt; his first wife and mother of his children, Flonnie Rosella Trogdon Wyatt and his second wife, Margie Versalee Fariss-Wyatt; and siblings, Robert Junior Wyatt, Dorothy "Cindy" Grinder, Noveleen Hendrix, Albert Lee Wyatt, Lewis "Dave" Wyatt and Jay G. Wyatt.

Graveside services for Newt will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at Love Cemetery in St. Joe, Arkansas with Bro. Leo Dye and Bro. Chris Wyatt officiating. Friends and family will serve as bearers.
