Betty Lou Jackson Milam, age 80 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, February 1st, 2021 at her home with family at her side. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on June 25th, 1940 to Georgia Atlas Jackson and Mirl Ophelia Wilson Jackson.

Betty was a long-time member of Marshall Assembly of God Church. Her praying spirit and servant's heart will be greatly missed by her church family. She loved attending church and thought of each member as family. Betty was a homemaker. Cooking and caring for her family brought her much joy. She enjoyed traveling, quilting and going camping with her grandkids. Her family was the center of her world.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Darwin Dempsey Milam of the home; her children, Teresa Laffoon (Aubrey) of Harriet, Gregory Milam (Joanna Zeigler) of Witts Springs and Kimberly Fountain (Russ) of Tilly; grandchildren, Dempsey Vickers (Wendy) of Dover, Gary Vickers (Sarah) of Russellville, Emmett Fountain of Tilly and Everett Fountain, also of Tilly; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Jackson (Donna) of Marshall; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Georgia and Mirl Jackson; and one sister, Patsy Sue Jackson Duncan.

Funeral services for Betty will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 5th, 2021 at Marshall Assembly of God Church with Bro. Sam Horton officiating. Special music will be performed by Kim Horton and John Richmond. Visitation will be 9:00 till 10:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Bearers will be Dempsey Vickers, Gary Vickers, Lucas Vickers, Cody Vickers, Austin Turner and Aiden Turner. Honorary bearers will be Mitchell Vickers and Bailey Vickers.

Roller-Coffman Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 2/3 capacity at one time. We are practicing social distancing and have limited seating. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
