Jackie Morrison, age 84 of Rock Creek, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 at his home. He was born in Rock Creek, Arkansas on August 19th, 1936 to Bartley Morrison and Faye Watts Morrison.

Jackie was a veteran of the United States Army. After serving in the Army he spent his working years in various trades. Many years were spent as a sheet rock finisher in several states and local areas. Jackie was a fishing guide and canoe hauler on the Buffalo River, a job he enjoyed very much. His last place of employment and perhaps his most gratifying was as a school bus driver with the Public School System. He made many friends during his tenure as a bus driver. He touched the lives and hearts of many young people and is remembered to this day as a friend to all. Jackie had a fantastic, quick, witty sense of humor. He loved making kids laugh, telling stories and pulling tricks on people. He liked having lunch at the Senior Center and his smiling face will be greatly missed by his community and surrounding area.

Survivors include his two brothers, Ted (Jo Ann) Morrison of Springdale and Jim (Nanci) Morrison of Heber Springs; one sister, Jo Ann (Gene) Reed of Hastings, NE; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, Bartley and Faye Morrison; and brother, Leroy Morrison and his wife, Shirley.

Funeral services for Jackie will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at Harriet Assembly of God Church in Harriet, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Watts and Bro. Donnie Horton officiating. Special music will be performed by Jackie's brother, Jim Morrison. Flower arrangement is by Jo Morrison and Nandra Campbell. Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery. Bearers will be Mike Reed, Mark Reed, James Reed, Bo Morrison, Brady Morrison, Ronnie Morrison, Steve Morrison, Randy Morrison and Richard Watts. Honorary bearers will be Will Campbell, Ben Campbell, John Morrison, Randy Clark, Bennie Watts, Gary Holliman and Randy Loggins.

Roller-Coffman Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. We are practicing social distancing and have limited seating. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
