Jerry Lee Morris, 73, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Paris. He was born on July 3, 1947 in Miami, Oklahoma.
Jerry was a United States Army Veteran having served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a retired machine exerciser for ECS-15 at Fort Chaffee. He was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and always loved fixing and tinkering with anything from lawnmowers to remotes.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mable Morris and two brothers, John Henry Morris and Marvin Dan Morris.
He is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Berneda (Fairbanks) Morris of Paris; five children, Tammy (Morris) McKean and husband Jimmy of Ozark, Tawnya (Morris) Hines of Paris, Jerry Paul Morris and wife Beth of Paris, Zac Morris and wife Kelly of Paris and Danielle Gann of Paris; 8 grandchildren, Harley Hines, Carter Lefflett, Jayden McKean, Chloee Morris, Kinsley Hines, Harper Morris, Hadlee Morris, J.D. McKean and his niece, Pam McCann.
Visitation will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m., on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Paris. Burial will follow in Paint Rock Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Harley Hines, Carter Lefflett, Jayden McKean, J.D. McKean, Devon Carlisle, Jason Sutliff and Jerry Fulmer.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
