Carolyn Marie McCullar Vaughn, of Jonesboro, departed this life, January 12, 2021. She was born in Marked Tree on Jun 8, 1949, to John A. McCullar, Jr. and Louise Marie Jones McCullar.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; son, Harold Wayne Clemons; sister, Nancy Ann McCullar Elder.

She is survived by her companion of 40 years, Dale Williams; her beloved dog, Bentley; 3 daughters, Tonda Dorton, Samantha Ingram, Holly (Joel) Pettit, all of Jonesboro; 3 sisters, Betty Ann (Gary) Howell of Springfield, Missouri, Joyce (Larry) Childres of Marion, Judy (Phil) Allen of Sheridan, Arkansas; 2 brothers, John Frank (Jimmie Lou) of Somerville, Tennesssee, Ricky McCullar of Jonesboro; grandsons, Tyler (Amanda) Dorton of Fayetteville, Trystan Dorton, Jamason King, Kobe Pounders of Jonesboro, Sammie Pettit of Bay; granddaughter, Kelsey Turner of Las Vegas, Nevada; great grandchildren, Marleigh Clemons of Springhill, Tennessee, Kiley Holmes of Trumann, Sylas Turner of California and Kaylani Kennison of Jonesboro; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

There will be no visitation due to COVID, but her ashes will be scattered on her parents and sons graves, with the remainder scattered in St.Francis River, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
