Atlas Ratliff, 96, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born on September 5, 1924 in Jenny Lind, Arkansas to his parents, Martin Luther and Della Dee (Graves) Ratliff.
Atlas was a United States Army Veteran serving his country in WWII. He worked for many years for Hollow Tree Lumber Company in Ukiah, California and later retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber in Texarkana. He attended the First Assembly of God Church in Paris, was a lifetime member of the DAV and loved playing Dominos.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Thelma Tate.
He is survived by his two sons, Claude Edward Ratliff of Van Buren and Kenneth Eugene Ratliff and wife Martha of Lancaster, California; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Kenny Maness. Burial will follow in Tate Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
