Billy Shrader, Sr., 91, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his home in West Helena, Arkansas. He was born February 23, 1929 in Snow Lake, Arkansas to the late Emma and Tony E. Shrader.
Mr. Shrader was a member of First Baptist Church in Helena, Arkansas for 78 years and was apart of the United States Merchant Marines in WWII.
He is survived by his two sons, Billy Shrader, Jr. (Linda) of North Little, Arkansas and James Shrader (Linda) of Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Stacey Shrader of Marianna, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Monica Shrader, Lori Shrader and Jason Shrader; three great-grandchildren; two special lifelong friends, Bobby Beith and Larry Wilson; a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his first wife of 37 years, Christine Short Shrader; second wife of 24 years, Aileen Parker Shrader; son, Paul Shrader; parents, Emma And Tony Shrader; grandson, Christopher Shrader.
A graveside service for Mr. Billy Shrader will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Chapel. Brother Cliff Bernard will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Beith, Larry Wilson and Charles Powell.
