Joseph Henry Sterne III, 85, formerly of Little Rock, died Thursday, January 7, 2021, in Fayetteville. He was born November 22, 1935 in North Little Rock to Joseph H. Sterne, Jr. and Erma McClain Sterne.
He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Chemical Engineering degree and was employed by Reynolds Metals Company until he retired in 1998.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Carole Berger Sterne.
He is survived by two sons, Mark Sterne of Fayetteville and Gregg Sterne of Little Rock; a daughter, Amy Sterne Davis of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren, Sarah Davis and Reid Davis of Fayetteville.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 12:00 P.M., Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas. We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and all attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
