Thomas A. GreenleafI am a Veteran.

of Sherwood, AR

July 6, 1959 - December 31, 2020

Thomas (Tom) Albert Greenleaf was born July 6, 1959 in Allentown, NY, and went to be with his Lord on December 31, 2020. His parents were Otto, Sr. and Marlene Greenleaf who raised him in Chester, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, Patricia Greenleaf (wife), and brothers Tim A. Greenleaf and Todd A. Greenleaf.

Tom retired from the Air Force in which he served in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He retained a deep patriotism and proudly flew the American flag.

After retiring from the Air Force, Tom entered the ministry, graduating from the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock. He served in pastoral roles for 20 years in both Arkansas and in New Jersey. Following his ministry service, Tom worked as a sales contractor for Waste Corporation of America.

Tom was a gregarious man who loved to make friends regardless of any differences there might have been. He found great pleasure in making people laugh with his unique brand of humor. One way he began many conversations was regarding his handlebar mustache which he groomed meticulously.

He was a tremendous fan of all Philadelphia sports, particularly the Eagles. He also enjoyed pool and darts. His favorite hangout was Tailgaters in Sherwood where he had many special friends.

Tom's greatest joy was his granddaughter Jetta Rose with whom he spent countless hours having fun.

Tom is survived by: two children, Lauren Lea Greenleaf of Sherwood and Zachary Thomas Greenleaf of Conway, a granddaughter Jetta Rose Greenleaf, one brother, Otto Greenleaf, Jr. of Chester, PA, three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, many cousins, four nephews, two nieces, and many great nephews and nieces.
