Jerry Dewayne Skiver

Mr. Jerry Dewayne Skiver, age 79, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He was born to parents Robert Leo and Libbie Faye Rand Presley Skiver on December 12, 1941 in Hand Cove, Arkansas.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years, Connie (Perry) Skiver. They married on July 27, 1962 and had two wonderful children who also survived Mr. Skiver, Bradley (Carmen R.) Skiver and Kirsten (Terry) Sanders, both of Mountain Home. Other survivors include his two grandchildren, Skiver Tribble and Grady Skiver, both of Mountain Home; one great nephew, Aaron Mitchell; Cousin, Larry Skiver; and many other cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jerry was a hard-working man, who spent his life as a general contractor building homes all over Baxter County and some in Marion County as well. He was also a lover of antiques. He collected Carnival Glass, he admired old cars, and he even had a booth at Robert Earl's Antique shop. Jerry had other interests too; he enjoyed scuba diving and bird watching. His favorite bird to watch was the Cardinal. Jerry attended East Side Baptist Church.
Jerry was deeply loved by his entire family and they will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Speer will be officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
