Mr. John J. Siebrandt, age 84 years, passed away in Mountain Home, Arkansas on January 2, 2021. He was born on May 30, 1936, to John and Rose (Prokopek) Siebrandt, in Chicago, Illinois.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home. He was a Mason and a member of the Mountain Home Elks.
He spent 40+ working years as an Over the Road Truck Driver, driving for Marshall Field's, Campbell 66 Express, and Advanced Transportation to name a few.
He enjoyed fishing, wood carving, and spending the winters in Port Aransas, Texas. John and Betty enjoyed traveling in their RV across the United States and taking trips on cruise ships. John looked forward to attending an annual fishing trip to Canada with his buddies.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty, of the home; daughters: Linda Siebrandt of McHenry, Illinois and Susan (Al) Terry of Willis, Texas; one grandson: Austin Terry (Melodie) of Bentonville, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Samantha Terry of Austin, Texas; and special friends: Roger (Pamela) Hargrove of Mountain Home, Arkansas as well as the members of the Twin Lakes Camping Club.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
Services are private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home.
