Audie Benjamin DePriest, age 85 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, December 27th, 2020 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born in Zack, Arkansas on November 3rd, 1935 to Lester A. DePriest and Velma Schlitt DePriest.

Audie was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended Zack Pentecostal Church when he was able. Audie worked as a Postal Inspector for the United States Postal Service for 23 years. After retirement he and wife, Louise served the citizens of Searcy County and the surrounding area doing tax preparation for 21 years. During this time Audie also, along with Louise designed and owned the Lost Mine Golf Club at Silver Hill. He was an avid golfer and spent many happy hours playing the sport. Audie also enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and working on the family farm. Time spent with his grandchildren and family brought him his greatest joy.

Survivors include his wife of 63 plus years, Louise Romines DePriest of the home; two children, Nancy Moore and husband Charles of Columbus, GA and Jon Depriest and wife Tracee of Bethalto, IL; grandchildren, Andrew DePriest and wife Tiffany of Chicago, IL, Jonathan DePriest of Los Angeles, CA and Bailey DePriest of Bethalto, IL; two great-grandchildren, Audie DePriest and Henry DePriest; siblings, Lloyd DePriest (Evelyn) of Marshall, Mary Lois Halsted (Paul Ray) of Harrison and Neva Baumert (Frank) of Sherwood; and many extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Audie is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Velma DePriest; one grandchild, Charles Adam Moore; and sister, Betty DePriest.

Funeral services for Audie will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 31st, 2020 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 in the Chapel. Burial will be in DePriest Cemetery near Silver Hill. At the family's request in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

Roller-Coffman Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time.
