Rudy Gene Wright, age 68 of Oxley, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, December 21st, 2020 at Conway Regional in Conway, Arkansas. He was born on January 12th, 1952 to James Thomas Wright and Mary Rose Treat Wright.

Rudy was of the Christian faith and attended the Leslie First Baptist Church. He graduated from Marshall High School and went on to attend VoTech in Harrison. He began work as a service technician for Sears where he worked for the next 25 years. After retirement he continued his work as a service technician for the citizens of Searcy County and worked tirelessly until his death. Rudy loved traveling the country on his motorcycle. He was an avid Razorback fan and loved to watch the games on TV. Rudy enjoyed camping and fishing and spent many happy hours with his family on these trips. Rudy's greatest accomplishment and the one that gave him the most joy was stepping up and becoming the best dad to his daughters and sons. He set an amazing example for his children and grandchildren to follow. The community of Searcy County will greatly miss the services Rudy offered and his wonderful friendship.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Passmore Wright of the home; his children, Rusty Wright (Laura) of Keller, TX, Randy Wright (Joy) of Arlington, TX, Renae Williams (Brian) of Bee Branch, Kayla Smith (Vince) of Mayflower and Neda McCord (Sam) of Lowell; grandchildren, Maddy Williams, Savannah Williams, Aubrey Smith and Zac Wright; his little buddy, Spike; and many extended family and friends who will deeply mourn his passing.

Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Rose Wright; and one brother, Terry James Wright.

Graveside services for Rudy will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 27th, 2020 at Canaan Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Chris Reade officiating. Special music will be performed by Peggy Adams. At the family's request in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons International, Marshall Camp, PO Box 1305, Marshall, AR 72650 or the Canaan Cemetery Fund, PO Box 237, Marshall, AR 72650.
