Minnie "Micky" Maxine Guthrie

Minnie Maxine "Micky" Guthrie was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on December 7th, 2020. She passed away at her home in Trenton with her daughter at her side.
Micky was born in Trenton, to Minnie Pendergrass and Lee Foster on January 10, 1928. She lived in Trenton all her life. She met and married the love of her life William Jennings Guthrie on June 9, 1946. The couple had one daughter, Billie Brenda.

She and her husband operated Guthrie Grocery Store in Trenton for 60 years. She faithfully served at Trenton Baptist Church until her health failed. She and her brother shared her gift of singing gospel music for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her precious husband of 61 years, Brothers, Aubrey Lee Foster, Winston Pendergrass Foster, Sr and Marion Foster.

She is survived by daughter, Brenda of West Helena, a granddaughter, Farah Leigh Fielder (Jack Sidler), two nephews, Winston Pendergrass Foster, Jr. of Marvell and Max Foster of England; a niece Mary Frances Gaston of Helena, Arkansas. She is also survived by her loving Guthrie family and many friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love of her family and everyone she knew.

Graveside services for Mrs. Minnie Maxine "Guthrie" will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas.

Honorary pallbearers are Michael King, Harold Crisp, Percy Kale, Tony Keys, Dickie Turner and Earl Whitson.
