George Wesley Douglass, 86, of Osceola, AR, passed away October 25, 2020. He was born February 1, 1934 in Osceola, Arkansas, to John Stephen and Ruth Hampton Douglass. He was a Veteran of The United States Air Force where he served during the Korean War and was retired from American Greetings. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Osceola where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed watching Osceola Seminoles, Ole Miss Rebels and Dallas Cowboys football. He is survived by his wife: Pricilla ''Sally'' Douglass of Jonesboro; daughter: Pam and Jeff Murray of North Carolina; grandchildren: Hayley Murray and Ethan Murray of North Carolina; brother: John Douglass Jr. of Osceola and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters: Peggy Jones and Clara Wilhite. Funeral Service will be Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens. We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitations attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
