Herminio Carrasquillo, 82, of Sherwood, passed away on October 16, 2020. He was born on June 12, 1938 in Comerio, Puerto Rico to Pedro and Juanita Reyes Carrasquillo.

He retired after 37 years from Standex International. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a friend, brother & father figure to so many and will be missed by all who knew him. Herminio loved fishing, working on cars, and cooking for and spending time with his family. Herminio never turned down the opportunity to help and always gave great advice to family and friends.

Herminio is preceded in death by his wife, Nilda Rose Carrasquillo.

He is survived by two sons, Edwin Carrasquillo (Anne Jablonski) of San Jose, CA and Herminio Carrasquillo of Fair View Park, OH; five daughters, Iris Gabriel of Sherwood, Sarah Gabriel (Emilio) of Cleveland, OH, Nilda Carrasquillo of NLR, Nancy Banik (Neal) of San Antonio, TX and Yvette Compton (Larry) of Soddy Daisy, TN; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters, many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home.
