Clayton Moffitt, 88 of Searcy, died Friday, October 9, 2020. He was born July 7, 1932 in Joy, Arkansas to the late Jesse and Bessie Clay Moffitt. He served both in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.

Mr. Moffitt enjoyed fishing, camping, polka, cattle farming with his brothers and was a member of Center Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded also in death are one sister, Eloise Townsend and three brothers, Arthel ''Doc'' Moffitt; Melvin ''Mutt'' Moffitt; Jewel Moffitt.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 68 years, Patsy Gabe Moffitt; daughter, Janet (Andy) Cropley; son, Mike (Charlotte) Moffitt; grandchildren, Brent (Jamie) Fraser; Sarah Fraser; Autumn (Jeremy) Fultz; Whitney (David) Deaderick; great grandchildren, Zoe Fraser, Genieve Fraser, Harper Fultz, Samuel Clayton Deaderick; brother, L.C. Moffitt; sisters, Orean Taylor; Mary (Roger) Harris; several nieces, nephews and other family members.

CDC guidelines regarding masks and physical distancing will be observed.

Visitation will be held 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 14 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at White County Memorial Gardens.
