Fred Seburn Colvett

Fred (JC16) Colvett entered this life June 17, 1928, in the Enterprise Community, to Homer Colvett and Cassie Robertson Colvett. He departed October 8, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was 92 years young. Fred was a man of many interests. He owned and operated Fred's TV Clinic until his retirement. He was a volunteer fireman for the Clarksville Fire Dept (1955 1975). He worked with the Johnson county Sheriff's office and the Clarksville Police Dept for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by his first wife Cleta Brasher Colvett, sons Freddy Wayne Colvett, Eddie Reeves and Tracy Reeves; sister Letha Patty, brothers Lee and Cletus Colvett and grandson Mike Stewart.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sarah Colvett of the home, daughter Sandra (Max) Stewart of Fort Smith, son Jan (Mary Dale) Colvett of Fort Smith, and daughter-in-love Susan Reeves of Marion, South Carolina. Six Grandchildren: Debbie Stewart of Van Buren, Margo(Alan)Capps of Lowell, Joseph(Mary Ann)Stewart of Rogers, Jennifer Wooden of Greenbrier, Laura (Cody)Nobles of Nichols, SC, Cassi Colvett of Fort Smith, and 14 great grandchildren. Plus, many other family members and friends.

Mr. Colvett will have an open visitation on Tuesday, October 13th and Wednesday, October 14th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mr. Collett's graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Kendall Cemetery with Wesley Kendrick officiating. Wesley Kendrick, Dale Wood, Sterling Penix, Larry Jones, Greg Donaldson, and John Burke serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Johnson County Sheriff's Department, Clarksville Police Department and Clarksville Fire Department.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
