William proudly served Our Country in the United States Army as a Combat Veteran during the Vietnam War where he received a Silver Star during combat. Bill never met a stranger and always made a point to speak to other Veterans in person or a note on a vehicle. He was a jack of all trades; he could repair or build anything he put his mind to. He loved his family and friends fiercely. He would drop everything to be anywhere he was needed. His love for life was in his Old School Man Cave Garage and his friends who came to hang out. Restoring antique cars was his passion along with traveling with family and spending time together, showing all the cars he restored at the car cruises and lastly the Soapbox Derby's. Bill will never truly know the impact he had on others or how much he was loved and respected by all who knew him.
