Noah David Woodall

of Maumelle, AR

June 28, 2001 - September 16, 2020

Noah David Woodall was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on June 28, 2001. He moved to Maumelle with his family at the age of one. He had a wonderful childhood in Maumelle, where he would explore the woods, play at Lake Willastein, and ride his bike all over town. He grew up surrounded by many friends and their families.

Noah attended Crystal Hill Elementary, Maumelle Middle, and graduated fourth in his class from Maumelle High School in 2019. He recently began his sophomore year at the University of Arkansas where he majored in industrial engineering, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Noah played soccer for the Maumelle Soccer Club from 2005 to 2018, where he also helped referee. He continued playing for Maumelle High School in 2019, where his team went all the way to the state semifinals. He participated in band from 2012 to 2019, where his excellence at the french horn led him to also thrive at instruments like the trombone and trumpet. He was selected to play in the All Region Band every year from 2014 to 2019. He was selected as seventh chair in the All State Concert Band in 2018, and fourth chair in the All State Symphonic Band in 2019. He was a swim instructor at Safety Before Swim, where he enjoyed teaching young children. He was very excited to begin working as a recruiter for the College of Engineering at the University of Arkansas this school year.

Noah enjoyed hiking, hammocking, and proving he could beat everyone playing Super Smash Bros. He was always energetic and brought smiles to the people around him. He was incredibly intelligent, enthusiastic, humble, and very quick-witted. You could always find Noah binging Avatar: The Last Airbender, listening to Ed Sheeran, or just laughing with all of his friends. Noah was a loving son, a wonderful brother, and a true friend.

Noah passed away on September 16, 2020 at the age of nineteen. He leaves his family to cherish his memory: his mother, Cindy Woodall; his father and stepmother, Jeff and Becky Woodall; his siblings, Caleb, Aaron, and Elizabeth Woodall; his grandparents, Kay Crosson (Mike), Bill Richardson (Janet), and Shelby Woodall (Lynn); and many loving friends and family.
