Jean W. Tucker, born Shelbie Jean Warren on October 3, 1936 was ushered into the presence of Jesus in the early morning hours of September 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by and reunited with parents Jim and Nora Warren, two beloved sons Keith and Kenny Cook, one great-grandson Jordan Cook, four brothers: Ellis, Alvin, Chester, Stanley; four sisters: Velma, Louise, Laura, and Yvonne. Heartbroken and left to cherish her memory, daughters Renea (Roger), Wanda, Rita (Eddie), and Elaine; grandchildren Kristin (Sean), Carrie (David), Josh (Sarah), Jared (Lisa), Jeremy (Jamie), Cassie, Amber, Markie (Josh), Steven; great-grandchildren Felicia, Tyler, Devan, Levi, Gavin, Stephanie, Madison, Jayden, Chandler, Andrew, Mackenzie, Ariana, Joshua, Gracie, Anderson, and soon to be born Lowery; six great-great grandchildren, and hosts of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was cherished by all who knew her. Her loving spirit and laughter was infectious and she never met a stranger. She was intelligent, kind, creative, an avid reader and yard-saler. The best Mom, Sister, Mamaw, Aunt and Friend a person could ever have.

A celebration of her life will be held and in honor of her colorful life and love of rainbows, bright colors may be worn. The visitation is going to be Wed, Sept. 16th at 1-2 pm for family at the chapel at Roller Drummond on I-30W access road at I-430. A mask must be worn and only 50 will be allowed in the chapel at a time. All COVID 19 restrictions will be followed: wearing masks and social distancing. Then family and friends are invited for the graveside services at 2:30 pm at Forest Hills on Hwy 5 and County Line. We will be live-streaming the graveside services on the Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park Facebook Page for those unable to attend.
