Mr. Homer Lee Cole, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on July 15, 1939 in Lepanto to Vernie and Elissie (Prince) Cole. Homer worked for over 40 years in the maintenance dept at Colson Caster Corporation. He attended New Hope Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Joan Doris (Arnold) Cole; sister, Shirlene Cole and son in law, Harold Callahan.

Survivors include; daughters, Donna (Ronnie) Teague, Carolyn Callahan, Mona (Bryan) Glenn; son, Matt Cole; grandchildren, Josh (Alecia) Sparrow, Ronna (Dustin) Davis, Jacob (Michaella) Callahan, Hallie Callahan, Ryan Teague, Brandon Glenn, Courtney and Cody Cole; great grandchildren, Colton and Addison Sparrow, Melissa and Emilia Davis, and Lakyn Callahan; sisters, Rosemary Lawman, Deloris Jean (Donald) Workman; sister in law, Glynda (Douglas) Cousin and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 27, 2020, 10:00 am at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Don Vuncannon and Don Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Sullins Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 26, 2020, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
