James Dale ''Jimmy'' Rice, 72 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Paris. He was born on October 23, 1947 in Paris to his parents, Coy and Lois (Phillips) Rice.
He was a retired Carpenter who loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Lois (Phillips) Rice; his son, Tony Lee Rice; one sister, Phyllis Hawkins and one brother, Larry Rice.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy (Reames) Rice of Paris; three sisters, Sue Chitwood of Tennessee, Donna Redding of Paris and Brenda Scrivner and husband Larry of Paris; three step grandchildren, Kesha Moore Boen and husband Jacob of Clarksville, John Moore and wife Taletha of Paris and Sabrina Varnell of Paris; 10 step great grandchildren; close family friend, Heather Balasco and several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at Corley Cemetery in Paris. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
