Clestene Townsend, 89, of Pangburn passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at his home. He was born March 29, 1931 in Searcy, Arkansas to Addie (Hooper) Townsend and William Townsend. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He drove for Arrow Coach Lines for 48 years up until his retirement. He was also a member of Pine View Church of Christ in Pangburn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Naomi Wise Townsend; a sister, Reba Nell Brown, One son, Tracy Townsend (Angie) of Searcy, a daughter, Terry Smith (Tom) of Searcy, three grandchildren, Michael Smith, Pamela Holliman, and Kaleb Townsend; two great-grandchildren, Haley Hill and Hanna Hill; two great-great- grandchildren, Colby Crowder and Le'Veon Gavin, a host of other relatives, and friends.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10:00AM at Howell Cemetery in Clay with Bro. Fred Eden officiating.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health Guidelines and Social Distancing will be observed.
