Rebecca Brown Yoder

of Shirley, AR

May 21, 1948 - June 23, 2020

Rebecca "Brown" Yoder was born on May 21, 1948 in Shelbyville, Indiana to Ebner and Lois. She passed away on June 23, 2020 of cardiac arrest in her sleep at home.

The family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of for better medical care for her father. Rebecca was an accomplished athlete; she had the fastest track time in school. She had a passion for piano and was offered a chance to go to Julliard. She chose instead to become a nurse. She decided to become a doctor after several years of nursing. In 1985, she gave up her medical practice to become a teacher and a servant of God. Rebecca's first book was published in 1986. That led her into worldwide ministry. She has traveled extensively across continents to teach people about spiritual warfare. The Lord revealed many mysteries to her so she could teach it to His people. Rebecca has written 15 books and booklets, 5 of them were co-written with her husband, Daniel. Rebecca also recorded a set of teaching CDs. Over the years, her books have been translated into more than 20 languages.

Rebecca and Daniel met in Arizona on November 7, 1989 and were married on December 10, 1989. They moved to the Clinton, Arkansas area in 1992 and made it their home. Rebecca had a special love for animals and the country life. She raised cattle and chickens; each one had a name. Rebecca and Daniel moved to Shirley, Arkansas in 1996. They developed the property into Shiloh Valley Ranch over the course of the next four years. Rebecca wanted to spend her last days here in the valley. Her greatest wish was to be buried in the valley.

Rebecca leaves behind her husband, Daniel and many friends around the world who are mourning her loss. She poured out her life as a sacrifice to the Lord. She finished the race well. She would tell each of us to do the same and remember that someday, we will see her again and be together for eternity.
