Harold Dwain Freeze

Harold Dwain Freeze, 53, died June 15, 2020, at his home near Fox.


Born Dec. 17, 1966, he was the youngest of five children born to John A. and Clara Fern Stewart Freeze. His father preceded him in death.


He was a former employee of Blanchard Shirt Company and Conestoga Wood Specialties in Mountain View and more recently Unimin Corporation at Guion.


He married Kimberly Johnson April 9, 2006, and proved to be a loyal husband who loved her daughter as his own, and he was a devoted ''Grampy.'' He will be remembered as a loving, sweet and kind man.


He enjoyed hunting and pursued big game during multiple trips to Montana with family members. Just recently he became interested in flying a drone and loved taking drone photos.


He is survived by his wife, as well as daughter Melena Walker and her husband Brandon of Savannah, Ga., granddaughter Oakley Marise Walker, brother-in-law Richard A. Johnson II and his wife Tanja of Oklahoma; his mother, two brothers: Darrell Freeze and his wife Sherry of Jonesboro and Michael Freeze and his wife Lori of Mountain View; two sisters: Patricia Smith and her husband Lynn of Mountain View and Shelia Freeze of Benton. Many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends will also mourn his passing.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2020, 11:00 AM at Bickles Cove Cemetery on Cove Road in Mountain View, Arkansas.
