Donald Ray Friddle, 76, of Magazine, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his home in Reveille Valley.

He was born July 5, 1943 at home in Driggs. Donald was retired from the U.S. Forest Service in Paris, where he got his first job out of high school. He was a volunteer with the Driggs Fire Department for over 20 years. He loved riding around the farm on his Bob Cat and checking the cows and making sure all the fences were in good shape. He was sure to call Edward Pickartz if any of his cows or calves didn't look right and to give him advise on everything farm related, whether he needed it or not.

He loved his ''girls'' and all the ''Grands'' and was always happy to see them.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Vondol Ray and Evelyn Biggs Friddle of Driggs and one sister, Vondah Kaye Friddle Moffet.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joyce of the home, two daughters, Deborah Gail and husband Matt Koch of Paris and Katrina Dawn and her husband Matthew Powell of Charleston, four grand-daughters, Samantha of Bonanza, Whitney of Fort Smith, Carrie of Wakefield, KS, Callie of Fayetteville; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Annabelle, Evelyn and Daphne, one sister, Darlene Becker of Paris and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing hours will be 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2020, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Rana Cemetery in Reveille Valley, near Magazine with Bro. James Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Edward Pickartz, Jason Davis, James Plemmons, Robby Nicholas, Keith Downs and Gary Becker. Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his honor for the upkeep of the Rana Cemetery.
