Clara Elizabeth McGee

Clara Elizabeth McGee was born April 12, 1947 to Marion and Lucille Little in Helena, Arkansas. Clara was a devout employee for JC Penny for 20 plus years. She lost her battle with ovarian cancer on May 4, 2020.

Clara leaves to cherish her memories of her husband of 54 years, Harley Darnell McGee of West Helena, Arkansas; her son, Jeffrey Darnell McGee (Jenise) of Marion, Arkansas; her daughter Paula Elizabeth Downs of West Helena, Arkansas; four grandsons, Christopher Alan Woodyard (Jana) of Eldorado, Arkansas, Jeffrey Darnell McGee, Jr. (Chrissy), Marion Andrew McGee (Ashley), Bailey Kendall McGee all of Marion, Arkansas; six great grandchildren that she lovingly adored, Mackenzie Cheney, Brooklyn McGee, Harley Drace McGee, Jeffrey McGee III of Marion, Arkansas, Annabeth Woodyard and Ally Woodyard of Eldorado, Arkansas. She leaves two sisters, Essie Powers of Proctor and Lucy Little (Sherri) of Sherwood, Arkansas and a sister in law Marion Simes of Carrollton, Mississippi along with many nephews, nieces and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Lucille Little; her sister Geneva Richmond; brothers, George Little, James Paul Little, Edward Little, William Little.

Due to guidelines issued from the federal government and the Center for Disease Control it is recommended that gatherings should not exceed 10 people; therefore, at this time we will not be posting funeral dates and times in order to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19.
