Leon Redman, age 80 of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Leslie, Arkansas on April 8th, 1939 to Artis Redman and Mary Bratton Redman.

Leon was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Leslie. He was a farmer and enjoyed working around the family farm. He was a member of the Wiley's Cove Masonic Lodge #524. Leon was a life-long resident of the Leslie Community and owned and operated Redman's Grocery for 23 years. His greatest joy was his family, especially the grandkids and great-grandkids. His presence will be greatly missed by his community, friends and family.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sharon Holsted Redman of the home; children, Anthony Redman and wife Tammy-Jackson Redman of Leslie and Trena Patterson and husband Randy of Leslie; grandchildren, Julie Blair (Michael) of Marshall, Adam Redman of Marshall and Kimberly Callahan (Jared) of Leslie; seven great-grandchildren, Makela, Audrey, Cooper, Molly, Kreece, Khloe, Rylee and one on the way; siblings, Dale Redman (Daisy) of Haskell, Edward Redman (Nancy) of Harrison, Lewis Redman (Sandy) of Tulsa, OK and Mary Ellen Chance (Bob) of Tulsa, OK; and many other family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Leon is preceded in death by his parents, Artis and Mary Redman; and one brother, Bill Redman.

Graveside services for Leon will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 13th, 2020 at Leslie Cemetery with Bro. Chris Reade officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 till 4:00 PM Sunday, January 12th, 2020 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall. Masonic Lodge #524 will serve as bearers.
