Myrtle Parks Greiner, age 91 of Marshall, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020, at Highland Court in Marshall, surrounded by her family. She was born September 12th, 1928 at Welcome Home, Arkansas to William Arthur Parks and Nellie M. Duncan Parks.

She married her devoted & loving husband Charles "Chuck" Greiner on September 11th, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Covina, California for the first decade of their marriage and then moved to Marshall, Arkansas in the late 70's to be closer to family. Myrtle worked for Avon Factory Manufacturing in California and Flintrock Shirt Factory in Arkansas. She took an early retirement, enjoyed babysitting and later cleaning homes for some cherished friends. She loved the Lord with all her heart and going to church was a priority. Myrtle was a member of the Marshall Assembly of God Church in Marshall and attended until her health declined. She loved company at their home and spending time with her family especially the holidays. Myrtle was tiny but was a strong, feisty, loving and proud lady. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, talking to her sisters on the phone, Sunday family dinners and reading her bible. She leaves behind a legacy of love for all generations.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chuck; daughter, Kathy Henderson; son, Wayne Bixler; daughter in law, Lurea Bixler; brother, Ira Gene Parks; sisters, Juanita Ward and Cloye Clayton; and grandchildren, Jeff Bixler and Jessica Riggi.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Smith and husband James of Fayetteville; three sons, Audie Bixler and wife Mikelyn of Marshall, Dean Bixler of Tulsa, OK and Jackie Bixler and wife Debbie of Bergman; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Ruenelle Clayton of Marshall and Willie Casto of Rogers.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Area Agency on Aging, Kindred Home Health, Legacy Hospice and Highland Court for their loving care.

Funeral services for Myrtle will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 6th, 2020 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Phillip Clark and Bro. Roy Ragland officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason Smith, Jaret Smith, Andy Bixler, Charlie Henderson, Richard Henderson and Jordan Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Parks, Dusty Parks, Dewey Ward, Roy Clayton, Clovis Clayton, Gene Casto, Jeffery Bixler, Trapper Bixler, Ethan Bixler, Nathen Harris, Chad Chase, Rocky Thomas, Marie Spradlin, Christy Rizzo and Nancy Graves.

At the family's request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Marshall Assembly of God Church in memory of Myrtle Greiner, 200 Westwood Drive, Marshall, AR 72650.
