Rudolph L. ''RL'' Prestidge, 86, of Kensett, passed away November 15, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. RL was born on September 5, 1933 in Jonesboro to Hassel and Bessie Findley Prestidge. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ella White Prestidge and brother, Hassel Lee Prestidge.

He is survived by is his two sons, Tommy (Celina) Prestidge and David (Lesa) Prestidge both of Kensett; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; one sister Patricia (Hamp) Wood of Waldenburg along with many family and friends.

Mr. Prestidge served in the United States Navy during the Korean War receiving several medals. After returning home he continued to do what he enjoyed his entire life by going back to the farm life with his family. Later he went to work for the Arkansas Forestry Commission and worked his way up to a supervisor's position. RL was a faithful and dedicated member of Kensett United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

RL had many things in this life that he enjoyed very much from traveling to camping, birdwatching to gardening and cooking. He enjoyed each of these things but enjoyed these the most when he was with his family and his friends. In his traveling and camping, he enjoyed staying in and seeing as many of the State Parks.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM on Tuesday, November 19 at Kensett United Methodist Church with funeral service to follow at 2:00PM. Interment will follow at Kensett Cemetery. All services under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Searcy.
