Coy Ray Allen, 83, of Cave City passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019.

He was born on February 9, 1936 in Sidney, Arkansas to John William Lee Allen and Bertie Beatrice (Felts) Allen.

Coy was a simple man with simple means and loved his family dearly. He liked electronics, motorcycles, football, baseball and he loved to cook.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Marie (Breit) Allen of the home; two sons, Kenny Ray Allen (Sihong Zhou) of Georgetown, Kentucky and John Showalter (Debbie) of Santa Monica, California; one daughter, Debra Edgin (Dennis) of Batesville; seven grandchildren, Jeromy K. Edgin, Jonathan L. Edgin, Jason M. Edgin, Spencer Showalter, Brandon Lee Allen, Derek Joshua Allen and Zachary David Allen; eleven great-grandchildren, Christian Blue-Wallace Edgin, Carmin Edgin, Cadin Edgin, Celsi Edgin, Alyssa Cowen, Brandon Cowen, Lance Edgin, Keith Edgin, Zachary M. Edgin, Zoe Edgin and Benjamin Allen; and one great-great-grandchild, Sebastian Edgin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, J.R. Allen.

A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Roller-Crouch/McGee Funeral Home of Cave City with Dennis Edgin officiating.
