Linda Ruth Colburnof Egypt, AR
July 7, 1947 - August 14, 2019
Linda (Cummings) Colburn, 72, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019, along with her husband of fifty-seven years, Terry Colburn on Friday, August 16, 2019. She was born July 7, 1947, in Bowman, Arkansas, to Lealon and Edna (Pursley) Cummings. Linda worked at General Electric, of which she retired. She was a member of the Egypt Church of Christ, Egypt City Council, and was involved in the Panama Mission Project at her church and many Egypt-community activities. Linda enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, AJ Cummings, Edward Lee Cummings, and Lealon Cummings Jr.; brother-in-law, Duffy Peronia; and nephews, Eddie Cummings and Jay Lee Cummings.
Linda is survived by sisters, Betty Peronia, Shirley (Glenn) Murphy, and Joy (Dennis) Lingo; sister-in-laws, Ann Cummings and Louise Cummings; and brother Rudy (Barbara) Cummings.
Both Terry and Linda are survived by daughters, Tammy (Scott) McDonald and Donna Colburn Whitley; grandchildren, Megan McDonald, of North Carolina, Sarah McDonald, of Georgia, Aaron (Paxton) Whitley and Hayden Whitley, both of Memphis, Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Terry and Linda will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at 11:00 am at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W Washington Ave Jonesboro, Arkansas, with Kirk Teachout officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service.
Burial for both Terry and Linda will follow at Markham Cemetery in Egypt.

The family would also like to give a special thanks to the good samaritan that stayed to comfort Terry and Linda at the scene of the accident.
