Danny William Dixon, 84, of Fifty Six, Arkansas passed away on March 18, 2019. Danny was born in Vernon, Texas on June 6, 1934 to the late John William and Vada Scales Dixon. Danny was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. Danny was a Christian and will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary Alice (Kinman) Dixon; one daughter, Patricia Ann Patterson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; one step-son, Johnny Dale Logsdon; two grandchildren, Loretta Alice Griffin, and Danny Wayne Patterson; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; along with many extended family and friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Vada Scales Dixon; two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation for Danny will be Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM with Brother Wes Kent officiating. Interment is at Red Doors Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Scott Pool, Lukas Pool, Gary Green, Bob Byrd, Chris Griffin, and Danny Wayne Patterson. Honorary pallbearer is Cade Campbell.

Military honors provided by United States Army Funeral Honors Team and Stone County Honor Guard.
