Jimmy Dale Brasher

of Little Rock, AR

February 4, 1949 - November 17, 2018

Jimmy Dale Brasher, 69, of Redfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Benton. He was born February 4, 1949 to Cecil and Ella Agnes Powell Brasher.
Jimmy was a devoted father that loved his daughters with all his heart. He would give you the shirt off his back even if he didn't have one. His sense of unique humor never ceased to create laughs- and a few tears- from those he loved and complete strangers, at times. His strong belief in family values, love and acceptance, and selflessness for humanity made him a man who was highly respected and deeply honored and cherished by his family and friends; especially his daughters. To say that he had a free-spirited and filter-less personality would be an understatement. Only what he meant was what he said and how he treated people to their face was how he treated them behind their backs, too. He was an unforgettable father, friend, and all around ''family and people'' man. He was infamous for ''rescuing'' all types of wildlife from racoons to crows and turtles, to even a mountain lion he called ''Alice'' whom he so dearly loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Terry Wayne Brasher; and two sisters, Jeweleen and Charlene.
Jimmy is survived by his two loving daughters, Penny Brasher and Angela Spigner, both of Little Rock; three sisters, Carolyn, Rita, and Margaret ''Sissy,'' all of Sheridan; four grandchildren, Cody, Nathan, Cameron, and Jaden; and one great-grandson, Johnathan Brown.
A Memorial Service will be Monday, December 3, 2018 at 5:00pm at Grace Church in Hensley.
