Paul A. Valdez Jr., 64, of Corning, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018. He was born Monday, July 20, 1953 to Paul Valdez Sr., and Nancy Almager Valdez.

Mr. Valdez is survived by his wife, Viola Reyes Valdez of forty-six years, five sons, Paul Valdez III, of Corning, Arkansas; Larry Valdez, of Bentonville, Arkansas; Luke A. Valdez, Bernard A. Valdez (Michela), and Victorio M. Valdez, all of Corning, Arkansas; four daughters, Francis Cheers (Homer), of Marianna, Arkansas; Melissia Valdez, of Corning, Arkansas; Apollonia Padilla (Martin), of Haynes, Arkansas; Felicia Valdez (Glen), of Marianna, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie Wright, of Jasper, Alabama; Isabel Torres, of Marianna, Arkansas; Martha Kramer (Jimmy), Pontotoc, Mississippi; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Lucy Valdez, Mary Thompson, and three brothers, Elex Valdez, Johnny Valdez, and Larry Valdez.

He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

Services for Mr. Valdez will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Burial will follow services at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.
