Wilma Faye Rorie Stevenson went home to be with her Savior on October 7, 2017. She was born August 10, 1926 to Bee and Audie Rimmer Rorie. She married James W. Stevenson on March 4, 1945. Wilma was a gifted seamstress and made the best hot rolls and chicken and dumplings anywhere. She was ''Nanny'' to her family and many others whose lives she touched. Wilma was a lifelong member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church at Guy where she taught Sunday school and was active in WMA as long as she was physically able. She was book keeper for Guy Perkins School for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years, James W. Stevenson, daughter, Brenda Stevenson Barton, two grandsons, Jefferson Davis ''Davis'' Farris V and Hunter Squires and a brother Dollen Rorie.

Wilma is survived by a son Benard (Vickie) Stevenson, daughter, Donna (Sammy) Duncan, four granddaughters, Angie (Shane) Steed, Kristi (Andy) Bivens, Melanie Pruitt and Kylie (Jeff) Farris, 10 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2017 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy from 6:00 -8:00 PM. Funeral Service will begin Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Burial following at Copperas Springs Cemetery.

The family would like to say a very special ''Thank You'' to her home care givers that helped take care of her and to Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab Center ''Hall 500'' and to Kindred Hospice for the wonderful care that was given to her.
