Mary Emma Wheeler Cushing Lewis, 91, of Benton transitioned to Heaven on Thursday, June 1, 2017. She was born March 22, 1926, in Monticello to the late Garner A. Wheeler and Mary C. Davis Wheeler. In addition to her parents, husband Elmer Lewis, sister Irene Grettenberg, brothers Gus and Edison Wheeler, and grandson Jeffrey Holmes preceded her in death. Mary was a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church in Lonsdale, AR.
Survivors include her children Beverly Sutton, Bob Cushing (Debbie), Carl Cushing, Debby Dennie (Jim), Diane Caldwell (David), Gayle Cauley (Neal), Jim Cushing (Lyndal), and Tony Cushing (Lisa); stepdaughter Paula Bermingham; brother Ted Wheeler; and sister Flarrie Willis. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (501-315-4047) with Bro. Vance Nutt officiating. Interment will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery in Lonsdale.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to the Funeral Service.
