Matthew Edmund Speck, age 32, of Little Rock, passed away December 11, 2016. He was born November 28, 1984 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was a 2003 graduate of Catholic High School and a graduate of University of Arkansas at Little Rock, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a double major in finance and economics. He was also a member of the Donaghey Scholars Program and was an Eagle Scout. He is the holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst professional designation and was a Relationship Manager with United Capital Financial Life Management.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Margaret and Sam Speck and Raymond Weideman. Matthew is survived by his parents, Mike and Sandy Speck of Little Rock; one brother, Stephen Speck and sister-in-law, Jana Barfield-Speck; grandmother, Gloria Weideman; aunts and uncles, Scott Speck, Lisa Harmon, Debra Speck and Greg Weideman; numerous family and friends; and his beloved cat, Archie. Matt was very loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211, (501) 224-8300. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
