Frieda Lowe, age 73, of Yellville passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Frieda was born in Osijek, Yugoslavia on November 20, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Franz and Ana ( Heinz) Reichl. Fried married Ray Lowe on April 16, 1979. Mr. Lowe preceded her in death on April 2, 2007. She was a retired cook for Yellville-Summit School having worked at Yellville-Summit for 34 years. While working at the school, the Food Service industry awarded Frieda the Earnestine Camp Award in 1986. Mrs. Lowe had made Yellville her home since 1979 having moved to Yellville from Pekin, Illinois. She attended grade school in Germany and obtained her high school diploma from Newport/Pacific High School. Frieda obtained her U.S. Citizenship in 1963.
Frieda is survived by one son Michael and his wife, Jackie of Clarksville, Tennessee; two step sons: Paul Lowe and his wife, Phyllis, of Waynesville, Missouri; and Gary Lowe and his wife, Kelly, of Walker, Missouri; one step daughter Glenda Hollis of Pekin, Illinois; three biological grandchildren: Jessica, Brandon, and Sean; four biological great-grandchildren: Jayden, Kian, Draken, and Luna; seven step-grandchildren; and twelve step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; three brothers: Adolf, Franz and Stefan; and one sister, Rosemarie.
Visitation for Freida will be 3:00 â€" 7:00 pm. Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Monday, November 28, 2016 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Fennell officiating.
Interment will follow in Layton Cemetery in Yellville.
Pallbearers will be Tad Ott, Bobby Joe Ott, A.J. Barrett, Bryan Jefferson, and Barry Pohlman.
