Matthew Ross Casey, age 23, of Flippin, Arkansas passed unexpectedly in a tragic accident at home on Sunday, August 14, 2016

He was born September 19, 1992 in Harrison, Arkansas

Matthew was hardworking and dedicated to family and friends, with a genuine heart and endearing smile. Some of his favorite things were making new friends and hanging out with the old ones, being active outdoors, arm-wrestling, working out and showing it off. As a child, Matthew enjoyed participating in soccer, Lego league, quiz bowls, and many years in Boy Scouts. He was a student at Flippin Schools and graduated with honors from Cotter High School.

Matthew will be missed everyday by his mother, Terrie Rouette;

father, Barry Casey;

brothers: Lucas Casey, and Jerl Casey;

sister Fallon Casey; nephew Stephen Casey;

maternal grandmother Dorothy Rouette;

paternal grandmother Dolores Casey;

and many other family members and friends near and far.

A memorial service will be held for Matthew at a later date.
