Samuel E. ''Bob'' Roberts, 87, of Tyronza, AR passed away April 9, 2016.

He served in the Navy, Navy Reserve, and Army during WWII and the Korean War. He also earned the Purple Heart. He enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching The Gaithers, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Lucille Roberts and his sister, Tommie Dillon.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Roberts of Tyronza, AR; his son, Sam Roberts (Martha) of Stuttgart, AR; his 2 daughters, Brenda Criswell (Sammy) of Tyronza, AR, Patricia Lawrence Hicks (Gordon) of Paragould, AR; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters, Nellie Myers of Kaufman, TX, Mary Olinick (Joseph) of Mascotte, FL, Narvell Potts of Iverness, FL, Karen Bryan of Paragould, AR, Nancy Whaley (Wafford) of Proctor, AR, Sandra Michie of West Memphis, AR; and his brother, Ether Dillon (Shelby) of Lepanto, AR.
