Maxine Stroud, 91, of Batesville, Arkansas died Monday, March 28, 2016, in Little Rock.

Born November 29, 1924, in Sharp County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Ernest R. Stroud and Glenna Martin Stroud.

Maxine was a life-long resident of Batesville. She was a graduate of Batesville High School and attended Arkansas College, now Lyon College. While in college, she was a member of Sigma Alpha Sigma Sorority and Harlequin Theatre. She retired from Citizens Bank after 35 years. Maxine was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club, and a member of the Central Avenue United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a dear friend Edward Row.

Maxine is survived by many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Paul Seay officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Thompson, Bobby Bennett, Gus Sanchez, Tim Johnson, David Hidy and Brian Biard.

Honorary pallbearers are Lavaughn Coles, Travis Moser, Charles Arnold, Dylan Biard, Trenton Mynatt, Steve Johnson and Larry Stroud.

Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the funeral home.
