Kenneth Gene Braden, 71, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born February 5, 1944 in Leachville to the late Luther and Novella Graham Braden. Mr. Braden worked for Crane and retired from Colson in 2002. He was of the Church of Christ belief and enjoyed watching basketball games, camping and traveling, being with his friends at Total Life and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Braden is preceded in death by his late wife, Linda; and his parents.

Survivors include his wife Jo Ann Braden; stepson, Mike (Lisa) Poppleton of Jonesboro; daughters, Cathy (Randy) Davis of Walnut Ridge, Michelle (Jimmy) Thompson of Ravenden, Ashley (Jeremy) Watson of Jonesboro; step-daughters, Kathy Gum of Jonesboro and Jennifer (Paul) Dotson of Olive Branch, MS; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Floyd Braden of Walnut Ridge.

Visitation will be 4:30-7 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.

Chapel services will be 10 am Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Gary Cremeens officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.
