Bobby Warren Pence, Sr. 80, of Cotter, Arkansas and formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away November 18, 2015.
He attended Central High School and Memphis State University. He started working for Walmsley Bearing Company while in college. He went on to become an executive salesman for several bearing companies including Industrial Bearing and Dodge Bearing Company before starting his own business.
He enjoyed his company, which he operated with his wife and sons, and the many relationships involved with valued employees and friends.
Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman during his life and enjoyed sharing his love of the outdoors with his family, especially after he retired on the White River in Cotter and on his farm.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Pence and Mattadean Warren Pence.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Terry Pence;
and his children: Bobby Warren Pence, Jr. (Lynne) of Cordova, Tennessee;
and Terry Curtis Pence (Nancy) of Lakeland, Tennessee;
and his grandchildren: Alexandra; Bobby Warren Pence, III; and James Tyler Pence, all of which he loved dearly.
He is also survived by his sister, Betty Pence East (Robert) of Cordova, Tennessee.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or a charity of donor's choice.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
